Thank you to everyone who participated, as well as those who volunteered. The 2010
UA Criterium was a huge success with 349 racers, the biggest UofA Criterium ever!



Data & Time: Saturday, January 30th, 2010 Registration opens at 8:00am


Registration:
Register online at SportsBaseOnline.com by January 28th, 12:00am AST (save $5). Juniors race FREE! Collegiate entry is $20. All other categories are $30 for day-of. Registration closes 30 minutes prior to your event Your second race of the day is only $15. Race licenses are available for purchase.


Schedule:

In conjunction with the UA Criterium, the club will host a Haiti Ride where racers and community members can ride around the UA Criterium course to raise money for the Haiti crisis. The entry fee to ride is $10 and all proceeds go to Partners in Health.

The ride is USAC sanctioned which means all participants must wear a helmet, purchase a USAC license (annual or $5 day of) and must have a mechanical brake on their bike (coaster, rim or hydraulic--no legs). Otherwise, ride any bike you like and enjoy the cruise!


Location & Parking:
In Tucson, AZ, the racing action begins at the intersections of 1st Street and Warren Ave. Parking is available in the Cherry & Speedway lot, in the northeast corner of that intersection. Ride your bike if you’re in Tucson!


Directions:
From Phoenix: Take I-10 south to Tucson. Take exit 257 Speedway Blvd. Turn left (east) on to Speedway Blvd. and proceed to Mountain Ave. Turn right on Mountain and right on to Helen. Parking is the first right turn on Helen. (map of criterium course is pending course approval by University of Arizona – stay tuned)

Course Map:
The University of Arizona Cycling Club presents the 4th Annual University of Arizona Criterium on the campus of the UA. The L-shaped course features lots of great corners and false flats to make for a fun and exciting race. Located right in the heart of the UA campus in central Tucson, the course is minutes away from the University Ave. businesses and Downtown Tucson.
